An unusual component I came across in my box of Vintage findings. I decided they would make a nice pair of earrings. I have added a Czech glass black bead and some rhinestones in black and pink. Vintage beaded charm hoop earrings. Charms are from the 1970's. I have added seed beads along the hoops. The charms dangle from the bottom on rings so they move freely. All metal is plated silver. When I first purchased these beads which are from 1940's Japan I knew they would make  pretty and unusual earrings. The earwires are plated metal (bronze finish) which can't be exchanged on this design as I have there is nothing suitable to match due to them being vintage. Please click on the image to enlarge it.

1" drop from earwire

I made these using quartz briolettes which looks black in the picture but are actually a very deep blood red. You probably may not even be able to tell in most lights, so they will be mistaken for black, just in case you were purchasing these to match anything blood red! The tassles are from old stock in the 1960's. The earwires are plated metal but can be exchanged (see 'Purchase postage & Extras' section). DEADSTOCK.

The glass beads in this necklace are all dated from the 1960's. Matching earrings are available on request. Strung on bottle green tigertail (soft coated metal), the beads all sit at the front of the necklace. Please click on the image to enlarge it.

All the beads on this necklace are vintage except the black one sitting in the green disc bead and the green one at the bottom. The large clear bead you see is from the 1950's and has flecks of glitter in it and is absolutely gorgeous! I have made a bracelet and earrings using these beads (see SOLD gallery) the beads really are something else. I can make earrings to match if required. Pendant is a substantial 2 1/4" in length

A most unusual green pendant made from a green vintage bottle that was dug up on a farm. This was made by the very talented hmbstudios. I have added to it some beautiful rondelles also made by hmbstudios in shades of green and some glass shard effect beads. To compliment this piece I have used some Czech glass black lozenger shaped and oblong shaped beads. Sterling silver toggle clasp.

It is very lightweight, fresh and different!

This necklace measures approx 24" in length excluding the pendant which is an additional 2" but this is difficult to measure as it curls around at the top. There are some earrings I designed with this necklace in mind they are called 'Planet' and are listed in the earrings section.

Stunning one of a kind volcanic rock necklace.
To enhance the volcanic rock I have added beautiful genuine 1930s beads, these are the ones shaped like tangerines and the lava coloured ones with the orange streak.In addition I have used lampwork glass orange rondelles from another designer who does beautiful glasswork - hmbstudios.

I have had these vintage beads for four years just waiting for the right pairing and I think I have found it. The colours are truly complimentary. I think you will get many comments on this piece! I will not be repeating this design so this is truly a one-off unique item. I only have a few of the orange beads left so if you would like a matching bracelet or earrings please convo me!

The necklace is surprisingly not too heavy although it is a chunky styled piece. It measures approx 26 inches in length. To give you an indication on size of beads the large volcanic beads measure approx 1.5 inches in length and the vintage volcanic styled ones measure just over 1/2 an inch in length and finished with a pretty silver floral toggle clasp.
